JOHN 3:16–18

It's the simple message of believing in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior. John 3:16–18 is really the anchor verses for the gospel. It takes just a simple belief in Jesus Christ and that's it. The reason why it's a gospel revolution is because we're told all the things we must do to get in good with God when it just takes a simple belief. It turns religion on its head — what religion does hasn't been necessary for 2,000 years.

The Gospel and the Return Are One Promise

The gospel would be empty if believers had to wait thousands of years for Jesus Christ to return like he promised — 2,000 years is proof of that.The Gospel Revolution is not a new religion. It is the end of religion. The revolution comes down to one thing: believe Jesus at his word.

The New Testament contains over 100 references testifying that Christ would return in his audience’s and the apostles’ own generation.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
